Oakley Capital has acquired a majority stake in 7NXT GmbH, the leading online fitness and nutrition platform in the German speaking region, from founder and CEO Markan Karajica and Crosslantic Capital. Mr. Karajica will continue in his role as CEO and will retain a significant minority stake in the business. EGO HUMRICH WYEN acted as legal adviser to Oakley Capital, together with Kirkland & Ellis and an integrated team of specialised boutiques.

The ranking is based on a survey conducted by the Handelsblatt Research Institute (HRI) in which more than 4,000 lawyers in 213 law firms are questioned for recommendations for their most renowned colleagues. The list resulting from this survey is then presented to an expert jury, which conducts the final evaluation.

A fund advised by Maxburg Capital Partners has acquired a majority stake in Metoda GmbH. The founders of Metoda will continue to hold a substantial stake. The transaction is the 14th investment by Maxburg.
EGO HUMRICH WYEN advised, in cooperation with the Swiss law firm Kaiser Odermatt & Partner, the insolvency administrator of Econcern on the assertion of claims for damages against the insolvent Ecostream Switzerland amounting to approximately EUR 450 million.
Global Savings Group (GSG) acquired the French cashback provider iGraal from Groupe M6. The transaction involved a partial cash sale for € 35 million in addition to a share swap, as a result of which Groupe M6 will become the leading shareholder in GSG. The deal, valuing iGraal at € 123.5 million, is one of the most significant transactions in the industry in recent years. According to GSG, the merger will create one of the leading digital platforms in the savings, cashback and shopping content sectors in Europe.
